Cooma is a great country town, and as we had observed, largely untouched since the 1988 bicentenary. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Top tip for Cooma? Drop into the Lott Cafe for breakfast. Bonus tip. If you are thinking that a refreshing ice-cream is a good idea on the return trip home, watermelon ice-cream is only a good idea in Kuala Lumpur. Cooma is not like Kuala Lumpur. At all.
